                                 ”I WANT TO BE AT THE TOP” When I made the decision to start modeling it was like jumping off a cliff while being blind folded. I knew absolutely nothing about what I was doing, but yet I was so sure it was the only thing that would ever make me truly happy. It’s only been a few months since my first flying leap into modeling but it seems like just yesterday that I walked into LA models with runway production director Shannon Davidson and Said “Hi I’m Allie, I want to model”. Little did I know what I was getting myself into. I instantly set aside my “normal” life and embarked on what soon would become a new life style and obsession. Luckily I had the support of a small army. Family friends and neighbors started driving me back and forth to LA on a daily basis until I got my much needed license. Home work was done in the front seat  and the back seat became my new bed with marks of mascara from exhausted eyes after long shoots. While my friends partied their sophomore year weekends away, I was busy begging my agent Kimberly to send me on more test shoots. It was official I had become addicted to modeling. Every night my eyes are glued to the computer screen watching girls like coco rocha and Karlie Kloss walk shows in paris, new york, milan, and london, carefully studying their walk and then spending hours working on mine while blasting upbeat music that drives my neighbors insane. I was recently asked where I hope to take modeling, my answer was short and simple, “at the top”. I don’t know a single girl who would tell you other wise. Why would you put yourself through all this if you didn’t want to be the best of the best. At times I wonder “how am I going to do this?” There are thousands of girls with the exact same dreams as me, how can I stand out in a sea of girls all working their butts off to end up at the exact same place I want to be. Then I remember that I have a small village of people all on my side cheering me on every step of the way and they know as well as I do, that I will not stop until I get exactly where I want to be. It wont be easy, in fact it’s going to be really hard, and I’m going to want to give up so many times, but I’m living my dream- a dream that despite how many times someone will say no I will never give up on.  Xo Allie Evans
